Alaskans Need our Legislators to Work Together

There is still work that can be done.

This week Alaskan’s came together to rally for Alaska’s future. Your emails, calls and rallies have made an impact. Many legislators heard you!

Forty-five legislators needed to vote in favor of overriding Governor Dunleavy’s budget vetoes for it to be successful.
On Wednesday, 37 legislators in Juneau voted to override the budget vetoes. One legislator did not support the override. Twenty-two legislators met in Wasilla and did not vote.

Please thank the legislators who courageously voted to support a veto override, and ask them to keep supporting our families, children and communities.

If your legislator didn’t vote to support the overrides, please email and ask them to convene for the upcoming capital budget discussions.
